Turning an ad click into a more informed business finance enquiry

Loan Options helps UK businesses explore finance through a panel of more than 70 lenders. GLO brought its Meta advertising and website experience together around one goal: give the team more context before the first sales conversation.

We started with native Meta lead forms, generating 76 reported leads at £36.82 per lead between 1 July and 29 September 2026. We then moved the enquiry journey to a dedicated landing page with an interactive business finance calculator, followed by a staged website form.

The change gave prospects a useful starting point before they shared their details. They could set a funding amount and term, explore an indicative lender-fit guide, then tell Loan Options more about their business. September’s website campaign recorded 209 landing-page views; its lead totals were not populated in AgencyAnalytics at the reporting cut-off.

The brief: more context before the first call

A native Meta form makes it easy to enquire. For business finance, the next conversation also needs context: how much funding is needed, how long the business has traded and what its circumstances look like.

Our brief was to connect the campaign to a more informative enquiry experience:

  • Move prospects from native Meta lead forms to a dedicated website journey.
  • Introduce an interactive calculator before requesting contact details.
  • Collect business information in manageable steps on mobile.
  • Explain the offer, the people behind it and what happens next.

The shift: a calculator before the enquiry

We transferred the lead journey from Meta’s in-app forms to a purpose-built landing page. The ad now opens an experience where visitors can explore their funding requirements before making an enquiry.

The calculator captures the desired amount and term, while trading and credit history determine an indicative lender-fit guide. Visitors then move through business questions and contact details, giving Loan Options a fuller starting brief.

The design combines coral controls, clear choices and visible reassurance. It explains that the guide is not a probability of approval, a quote or an offer of finance.

A new route from ad to enquiry

Where we started

Meta ad → native lead form → follow-up

Prospects enquired inside Facebook or Instagram. This established a measurable baseline and a direct route to the Loan Options team.

What we built next

Meta ad → calculator landing page → website enquiry → follow-up

Prospects explore their funding needs, see indicative lender guidance and share business context before requesting a conversation.

The results, with the right context

Native forms generated 76 reported lead events. The new website campaign brought visitors into the calculator experience. We report the two routes separately so their spend and outcomes stay clear.

Total spend across both routes was £3,546.45. Costs exclude agency fees. Leads are Meta-reported events, not independently deduplicated borrowers or completed loans. The reporting window excludes 30 September. No website conversion uplift, funded-loan total or revenue return is claimed from these data.

The page opens with the question a business owner wants answered: could Loan Options find a suitable lender?

The interactive calculator provides a starting point. Funding amount and term capture what the visitor needs; trading and credit history drive the general lender-fit indication. The page explains that rates, repayments and suitability require an individual assessment.

How we connected the ad to the enquiry

01

Establish the native-form baseline

We began with Meta lead generation for businesses in England and Wales. Native forms gave prospects a direct route from the ad to an enquiry. AgencyAnalytics recorded 25 leads in July and 35 in August: 60 lead events from £1,959.38 of media spend, equivalent to £32.66 per lead.

02

Move the enquiry onto the website

The next phase moved the conversion journey onto the Loan Options website. Instead of completing a form inside Facebook or Instagram, prospects clicked through to a dedicated landing page with a calculator. The website-form campaign ran during September, alongside remaining native-form activity during the transition.

03

Give value through the calculator

The calculator lets visitors choose a funding amount and preferred term, then select their trading and credit history. An immediate lender-fit indication gives them a reason to engage before sharing personal details. The rating is based on trading and credit history; amount, term, affordability and lender criteria still require individual assessment.

04

Build the business brief in stages

After the calculator, selectable questions gather turnover, sector, region and homeowner status before contact details. Breaking the journey into steps keeps each decision focused and helps the sales team understand the business behind the enquiry. The coral and charcoal design carries the Loan Options identity from the first screen to the form.

05

Make trust and next steps visible

Named team members, lender information, customer reviews and a plain-language explanation of the process help visitors understand who they are dealing with. The page makes the broker’s role and the limits of the calculator clear. A defined follow-up step helps set expectations for the conversation after an enquiry.

06

Measure each route separately

We separated native-form performance from the website campaign in AgencyAnalytics. The native campaign recorded 76 lead events from £2,798.04, while the website campaign spent £748.41 and recorded 444 link clicks and 209 landing-page views. Its lead fields were blank at the reporting cut-off.

That establishes the native-form baseline and confirms traffic reaching the new experience. Website enquiry totals, qualified opportunities and funded loans need to be reconciled with the client’s sales records before judging the commercial impact of the switch.
